response to lt. nick

I'm doing my response to literature on "The Tell Tale Heart" by Edgar Allen Poe. The story was mainly about a crazy man that absolutely hates some man's big pale blue eye. So one night he gets up and sneaks into this guys house and kills him. Then he disasembles him and hides him under the floor boards. That morning the police come and he goes crazy and tells the cops where the dead body is. I think that this book displayed a very dark mood, has fantastic imagery, and has an interesting plot.
This story is very dark and creepy because the narrator is always being very descriptive about everything. One significant quote that supports this is, "It was still as dark as midnight." Another one is," I cut off the head, arms, and legs. As you can see he is very discriptive in his writing and is also very gory.

  1. (Don't write in first person)(You need a hook...something to pull the reader in - see your ela comp book notes)I'm doing my response to literature on "The Tell Tale Heart" by Edgar Allen Poe. The (descriptive word...what kind of story) story was mainly about a crazy(use a better synonym) man that absolutely hates some man's big pale blue eye. So (Get rid of so) one night he gets up and sneaks into this guys(guy's) house and kills him. Then(comma) he disasembles (spelling) him and hides him under the floor boards. That morning the police come and he goes crazy and tells the cops where the dead body is. I(not 1st person) think that this book displayed a very dark mood, has fantastic imagery, and has an interesting plot.
(Transition word)This story is very dark and creepy because the narrator is always being very descriptive about everything(use better word). One significant quote that supports this is, (remember, the beginning of the quote is not capitalized)"It was still as dark as midnight." Another one (one what?) is," I cut off the head, arms, and legs.(You forgot your quotation marks) As you can see(comma) he is very discriptive (spelling) in his writing and is also very gory.

Next, this story is very dark and creepy because the narrator is always being very descriptive throughout the whole story.
