Do you like scary stories about people that are crazy and kill people they don't like? Well you would like the story Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe. This story is about a crazy man who doesn't like his roommates eye. Then one night his roommate wakes up and the crazy man kills him with his own bed and hides his body under the floor boards.The next day the police came and started asking him questions while this was happening he thought he heard his roommates heart beating and gave him self up. I'm going to talk about the scary suspense,exciting plot, and creepy figurative language in this story.
The suspense in Tell-Tale Heart is scary which makes you want to keep reading.One quote that describes the suspense is "Nervous-very,very dreadfully nervous i had been and am!"This quote shows that the story's suspense is scary cause the guy is very nervous about something in the story.
