Have you ever felt like you didn’t know what or who was around you? Do you wonder if someone’s there watching you make every move, step by step? The story of Tell-tale Heart by Edgar Allen Poe, is very mysterious and gets the reader thinking about what’s going to happen next. This mysterious story is about a young man who sneaks into an old man's house and the young man ends up killing him. The old man never did anything wrong to the young man. The only reason the young man wanted to kill him is because of the old man's pail and blue eye. Tell-tale Heart, by Edgar Allen Poe, displays a dark, mysterious mood, an amazing surprise ending, and an interesting plot.
