would you ever read a story where a man does something so spine chilling just because he didn't like his roommates eye? Well if u would then you will like this story Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allen Poe. This story is about a crazy man that hates his roommates eye. He hates it so much that he stalks him every night waiting for the right moment to poke his eye out. But one night as he went to open the door his roommate woke up and so he jumped at him, dragged him off the bed, and cut his body peaces off and hid them under the floor boards. I'm going to talk about the creepy suspense, exciting plot, and descriptive figurative language in this story.

The plot of the story is a very twisted and disturbing that would send u fear at night. One quote that describes the plot of the story is "he was stone dead, his eye will trouble me no more". This quote is creepy because he killed a innocent old man just because he didn't like his vulture eye. Another quote from the madman is "it was open wide, wide open and i grew furious as i gazed upon it".

the suspense of the story was one of the most horrifying parts in the story. It was one of the most horrifying parts in the story because of how he stalked the old man all night and waited for the right moment to kill him. A quote that describes the suspense in the story is "i heard a slight groan, and i knew it was the groan of mortal terror. this quote describes the suspense because the old man was groaning from his fear of being killed by the crazy man. Another quote that describes the suspense of the story is,"nervous-very ,very dreadfully nervous i had been and am.

the figurative language in the story is very descriptive and interesting. One of the quotes from the story that shows the descriptive figurative language is,"he had the eye of a vulture-a pale blue eye with film over it. the quote described the figurative language because it was very descriptive and you can visualize his eye by how it was described. The last quote of the figurative language is,"he was stone dead."

In conclusion the creepy suspense, exiting plot and descriptive figurative language as you can see was interesting.this crazy horrifying spine chilling story i hope sent you home with goosebumps. All of you people that love scary stories this is a story for you, and i guarantee you will enjoy reading the book of Tell Tale Heart by Edgar Allen Poe.
