Reading Response to Literature

Have you ever thought you were the best at something; well no one likes a showoff. The story Toni Cade Bambera wrote Raymond’s Run he was inspired to write Raymond’s Run because of something that happened in his life.  Raymond’s Run is about a girl who thinks she is the best at running and she has conflicts with people in the story and with her brother Raymond. Out of the three stories I picked Raymond’s Run because it has a good meaning to it. The three best components that I picked from the story is the plot, the Characters, and the Conclusion.

The stern but happy mood gives the reader a sense of learning and understanding. The mood is stern but happy by, the girl is very stern and she thinks she is the best so she brags to a bunch of people. She thinks she’s the toughest thing and she can punch your eye off. It’s also happy because her attitude changes towards her brother Raymond.
