Overall, great start, Courtney. You have great ideas....just add some more! :)

“We cannot walk alone.” (www.brainyquote.com) Martin Luther king was born January 15, 1929 and was murdered April 4, 1968. He was a minister of a christian church in Alabama. He Graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and was admitted to Morehouse College at age 15.  He entered Boston University for graduate studies. he studied sociology and he studied Christian theology. He was married to Coretta scott king. He had four kids. Martin did what he could to change the laws for us.

Martin wanted to change the way the blacks were treated. He thought, "why can’t we all be together and be treated equally?"(www.brainyquote.com) So he was motivated to speak out, tell the world how he felt about blacks and whites being separated. King stated, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”I think this quote is true. Martin said.” “A riot is the language of the unheard.” (www.brainyquote.com) I like this comment because a riot is the language of the unheard, it's true.

Martin thought that having white and black people separated was wrong. He gave speeches, but he spoke with words not fists. He marched around getting people to notice that this was wrong. “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” “I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit together at the table of brotherhood.” One could can say he had a lot of dreams and they were all dreams of making things right. King worked through non-violent protest, love, and faith. He put his heart and soul into changing thing. Martin was a man who knew what he wanted. He wanted to please others and make them happy by making things fair. He didn't want to fight with fist , he wanted to fight with words.  “Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into friend.” Martin said, “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”His quotes have so much meaning. Martin Luther King Jr. impacted our lives by letting us all be treated the same. Just because people are different colors doesn’t mean they are horrible or should be treated horribly. He fought with words for our rights. Martin Luther King Jr. was an amazing man because he risked everything for us, so we could all be together and share the dream.
