Portfolio Assignment #3

History:

On your word document, start a new section titled "Social Studies Portfolio".

Answer the following questions:

1) Think about all of the periods of history that we covered this year. Write about the period of time that was most interesting to you. Explain why it was interesting. Below are the time periods we have studied.

2) Of the people we studied this year, who was the most interesting to you? Write a brief explanation of the person, who she or he was, and the impact he or she had on America and you.

3) Research and find a quote about the importance of knowing history. Explain the meaning of the quote and why you relate to that quote.

4) Explain the importance of knowing U.S. history. How will it help you in life?
