Walter Elias Disney was an American film producer, director, screenwriter, voice actor, animator, entrepreneur, entertainer, international icon, and philanthropist, famous for his influence in the field of entertainment during the 20th century. He was an inspirational man who deserves to be looked up to by all who have had a dream and need the courage to follow it. “If you can dream it, you can do it.” He wielded unmatched influence over our childhood.

Walt Disney didn’t become an international icon overnight, he worked hard to get to where he was, he may have had his fair share of failures and not everything he tried for worked out, Walt Disney had been fired by a newspaper editor because "he lacked imagination and had no good ideas." He went bankrupt several times before he built Disneyland. In fact, the proposed park was rejected by the city of Anaheim on the grounds that it would only attract riffraff, but it was because of his determination and constant efforts to succeed that in the end, he came out on top. “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.” “Mickey Mouse popped out of my mind onto a drawing pad 20 years ago on a train ride from Manhattan to Hollywood at a time when business fortunes of my brother Roy and myself were at lowest ebb and disaster seemed right around the corner.” Disney had explained. Mickey Mouse was the starting point for Walt’s career, and would soon develop into, Walt Disney productions, the major motion pictures we know today.

Despite the uncertainty of others, After Mickey Mouse, Walt Disney continued on to create what would later be known as today’s largest entertainment company. He produced around twenty full-length films, as well as a telavision series, and of corse was the creater of the famous Disney Land. He accomplished so much in his lifetime, and even after he passed, him and his creations lived on shaping the lives of the young generations. "I only hope that we don't lose sight of one thing - that it was all started by a mouse." "I love Mickey Mouse more than any woman I have ever known."

When Walt disney first began his buisness he showed the world that anything was posible. "It's kind of fun to do the impossible." throghout his life he brought smiles to the faces of people everywhere. Today he he contiues to do so. "Movies can and do have tremendous influence in shaping young lives in the realm of entertainment towards the ideals and objectives of normal adulthood."

A life without disney wouldnt be the same. you might not think about it now but if it was al taken away, there wouldnt hardly be as much creativity in the world. Walt disney didn't just entertain us, he showed us the power of imagination. and thats something that could never be replaced.
