    Elvis Presley 

 

 

“When I was a child, ladies and gentlemen, I was a dreamer. I read comic books and I was the hero of the comic book. I saw movies and I was the hero in the movie. So every dream I ever dreamed has come true a hundred times...I learned very early in life that: ‘Without a song, the day would never end; without a song, a man ain’t got a friend; without a song, the road would never bend - without a song.' So I keep singing a song. Goodnight. Thank you.” Elvis Presley said that quote.  He was born on January 8, 1935 and died on August 16, 1977. Elvis was a rock and roll singer and was considered “The King of Rock and Roll.” Elvis Presley had an interesting background growing up in the South.  He has impacted the whole world through his music.

 

            He began his singing career in 1954 with the legendary sun records label. Then in 1955 his recording contract was sold to RCA victor.  By 1956 he was an international sensation.             He impacted the world by starring in all those movies and appearances on television shows. He also impacted the world by performing in Las Vegas for lots of people.

 

            When he was still alive he impacted the world by being the best rock and roll singer at that time. No one ever had sung that kind of music really ever before. He also impacted life then by having girls all over him. He has impacted life now by still being remembered by everyone in the world and also still being  “The King of Rock and Roll.”

 

            Elvis Presley had an interesting background in the South.  He has impacted the whole world through his music. Elvis Presley lived a great life and was loved by the whole world. Elvis died on August 16, 1977 on the bathroom floor. He died of an overdose on prescription drugs. He was 47 when he died. Elvis A.K.A. “The King of Rock and Roll” has changed the world forever and will always be known as “The King.”
