The government spent 15 billion dollars on the war against drugs.when did this spending occur? People have been smokinged marijuana for thousands of years.Explain what civilizations did this and when. It comes from the hemp plant. The problem is people now smoke it illegally and it causes a lot of deaths. I not first person think that legalizing marijuana would be stupid use a better synonym. Everyone would be running around high and making stupid decisions.
People die everyday from being high while doing something active. This one guy started smoking weed at a young age and now is in his forty’s and works at jack in the box (capitalize) flipping burgers. Drugs ruin lives. I think people should think about there future lives before they start smoking marijuana. It is a serious problem because people are getting addicted to it and it leads to more intense drugs. People abuse medical marijuana. There are many different solutions to stop abusing marijuana.
One solution to ending the abuse of marajuana is to get more serious about smoking what does this mean? and have a longer time in jail. Another solution is to make even medicinal marijuana illegal. Then no one could abuse the marijuana card. If there is no medical marijuana then no one could fake having a desiese. People have been taking advantage of the medical marijuana card for a long time. The problem again is that people are smoking marijuana illegally and it is getting them addicted and they will up eventually going on to more intense drugs. If we legalize it, a lot of people are going to end ruining there lives and wont be able to get into any colleges and will not be able to afford a house, car, food… ect. That is why I think that we should not legalize marijuana.
