Tell-tale Heart, by Edgar Allen Poe displays a dark, mysterious mood, an amazing surprise ending, and an interesting plot. When you’re reading the story, mysterious ideas catch your eye. It makes you wonder what’s going to happen next and why he wrote the story that way. The way the young boy sneaks into the olds man room is very surprising cause you don’t expect anything to happen when it really does.
