    2. We chose drunk driving for our topic.
    3. We did the research report for the ELA standard.
    4. Math standard- 5.0 Students solve multistep problems, including word problems, involving linear equations and linear inequalities in one variable and provide justification for each step. If every week, 6 people are charged with DUI's, after 32 weeks, how many people have DUI's? How many weeks did it take 600 people to get DUI's?
    y=mx + b, b=0, m=6, y=6x + 0
    5. Science standard- Alcoholism causes a variety of physical consequences that are well known and easy to reconize. Alcohol slows your brain's synapses and chemically alters your body by affecting serotonin levels, the chemical responsible for transmitting signals of mood to your brain. These physical commutes and causes your emotions to get out of control and cause you your do say and do things you normally wouldn't do. Alcohol is a depressant that decreases activity within your brain's nervous system. When combined with the physical stresses that alcohol abuse causes, feelings of anxiety and be aggravated.

    8. Yes, because it is an ongoing thing that happens everyday.

Yes, because we created a facebook page and spread the word about how dangerous drunk driving is and can be.

Yes, because everyone participated in the creation of the facebook page, website, and research report. Emily and Noel did the spelling words and the science standards. Sarah and Denisse did the Math standards, pictures, and background info. Everyone did an excellent job.

Yes, we all love using technology to learn new subjeccts about the world and just in general.

    8.
-Yes, because many people every day are dieing or being injured badly from drunk driving.
    - A little bit to the facebook world and maybe if people saw the site online.
    - Yes everyone did equal. Cameron did photos and several pages on the website. Such as photos, checkpoints, contact us, and science standards. He also did some pictures of the facebook. Jarrett did all of the other pages like, home, videos, statistics, algerbra, and the writing part for english and set up facebook.
    - No, it need to be easier to understand and not as much work or having to make something that has all these standards in them or not make it like a project type of thing but make it more using technology like learning from apps or things like that.

    2) The cause we choice was based on our government going into foreign countries, for example Libya.

    3) The ELA standard we choice was; Comparing and contrasting features, similarities and differences, technical directions, balance between researched info and original idea.

    4) Algebra standard; Made a chart and a formula on Libya’s oil production.

    5) Science standard; chemical reactions with oil.

    6) Social studies standard; the powers of the government and how the American people are involved

    Link to Product: http://helpingcountries.weebly.com

We all think that our cause is relevant because, it is always there and going on while effecting us. So, although we are going into other countries its effecting us, our economy, and how we live.

We do feel like we spread the word about our cause. We made a website and put it on goggle, so that everyone can see.

We think everyone played an equal role in the making of our project. We all helped write the paragraphs and helped each other with idea’s.

We all think that this was a great way to learn the standards because, we had to research and think about everything that went into our website. We will remember this because it was fun and interesting, and we actually wanted to do it.

    2. We choose this topic because we thought it was interesting to learn how shoes are important to everyone.
    3. ELA: Spelling words
    4. Algebra: (3.0 Students solve equations and inequalities involving absolute values.)
    5. Science: ( Chemical change)
    6. Social Studies: (How shoes tie in with Colonial America)
    7. http://sharetheshoes.weebly.com/
    8. This is an important because the countries support each other and if we help the countries with the shoe problem then they can give the world resources that are low or are unavailable.
I think it will help spread the word, but the website its self won't make an impact. I also think people that visit the site will spread the word. Sense this site isn't on google there won't be a lot of visits, so the people who do need to help spread the word.

I don't think everyone had an equal part or playa in what everyone did. I think we should assign the jobs and make sure we are doing them.

I think this is a great way to remember the standards because we don't make websites everyday and we'll remember the website and everything.

    2. We chose to help people in foreign countries to get shoes

    3. We wrote a business letter to Vans

    4. We used the DRT formula to find the average foot per second ran with and without shoes on
    5. Same ^

    6. We thought that the slaves had to go through the same problem of not having shoes while doing daily tasks

    7. http://shoeforashoe.weebly.com/

    8. Yes. Not having shoes may not seem like that big of a deal but when you have to walk miles through rough terrain just for water, your views change on the littlest things.

Were not sure yet. We're sending multiple business letters to major shoe manufactures to see if they'll support our cause.

Lucas: Took and organized notes on everything needed, incorporated spelling words
Jacob: created and edited the connection to the standards for science, math, history, and ELA
Nick: wrote three paragraphs of the business letter, helped on two pages of our site, and ran barefoot in video.
Mark: Made and edited website, filmed video, edited video

I think that our whole group will remember this because of the ways we tried to connect it to our standards (running barefoot in Wrights Field and running through school hallways

    8. Yes, drunk driving is happening all around the world today.
Yes, making a facebook page really helped us get the word out about our challenge project. We also think that our facebook page really made people want to be against drunk driving.
Yes and no. There were sometimes some people who started "shooting a breeze" like Mr. Diggs would say. Tanner and Robbie did a good job but they could of stayed on task a little bit more. All together, our project turned out as good as we wanted it to.
I think yes for sure. Tying it into something we enjoy researching and learning about something we actually are interested in makes our 8th grade standers even more interesting to learn about.

    2. We chose the topic on child sexual abuse and how horrible it is and needs to stop.
    3. Reading- compare and contrast, analyze text, compare original text to summary, use information from a variety of places, evaluate the structural elements, analyze setting
Social studies- support thesis or conclusions, use correct and varied sentence types, correct grammar and editing, revise writing, Written doc., speaking applications.
    4. we listed like 3 in 10 boys get raped every 2 hours or fractions that have to do with people getting abused.
    5. Physical science goes with out project because when the girls are getting raped the men or woman use force to push them and gravity to jump on them.
    7. www.molestrapetouch.weebly.com
    8. Yes I think it's relevant to the world today because it is a bad thing and needs to stop because children get raped every year, every month, every week, everyday, and sadly every hour.
Yes because if people see our website it explains that it's okay to get help they they won't hurt you again, and symptoms if you think someone close to you have and you can compare.
Everyone worked in our group Jennii did pictures which Aleja helped with and i found information and videos and sent it to Jennii and she put it up.
I think this was a good way but there is probably many other ways also.

2.) Our cause was on the history of child abuse

4.)We did an equation using y=Mx + b to figure out how many kids die a year from child abuse
5.) We did research on how to test for D.N.A. to see if you have been sexually abused
6.)We did the history of child abuse and used specific cases
    7.)www.share.zoho.com
8.) Yes we do because child abuse is relevant to animal abuse that still to this day goes on.
Yes because we did a power point that we can publicize to spread the word.
No because some people did more than other, and we would try to equalize it by assigning someone specific to do and they have to do it, if not they get the blame for it.
Yes because we got to interact with it and work with it in our project.
